I Sit

I sit
on the corner of the edge
of all insanity
My legs dangling
my heels pushing off
loose rocks and sand.
I watch them fall.
And I am hidden.
Silent,
in my own coffin of life,
putting a death wish
on all of my foes
all my friends who went to the other side.
But still, I stare
down, down into the depths
of mind and soul.
Reds and greens and purples swirl
Browns and oranges swirl
All the colours swirl into black.
Is black everything?
Or is it nothing?
One will never know.
And I smile
and laugh
and walk away.
